Voted one of Atlanta’s top five farmers markets, the Green Market runs on Saturdays through November. Open rain or shine, it provides shoppers with direct access to local farmers and small businesses. The vendors offer beef, artisan cheese, free-range eggs, and much more. Guests can also enjoy live music and chef demonstrations.
Called one of the top dog parks by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Piedmont’s dog park is one of the only places in the metro Atlanta area where canines can run free. It welcomes over 700,000 visitors every year, and features benches, water fountains, and separate enclosures for large and small pets.
Sweat and Splash
Sweat and Splash is a unique heart-pumping fitness class that takes place both on land in the water. Lasting 90 minutes, it helps with core sculpting and strength building.
BC4C Outdoor Fitness
Start your day early with a BC4C Outdoor Fitness class. The sessions start at 5:45, and are built on a theory called muscle confusion. The workouts are tough, yet fun, and all fitness levels are welcome.
Piedmont Park History Walking Tour
The History Walking Tours are a great way to learn about the park’s storied history. Led by docents, participants discover how the land went from forest to farm to fairgrounds for the Piedmont Exposition of 1887. These free tours are held on Saturday mornings through November.
